Q. Where can I find Glow services? How far will you travel?
Glow is happy to serve clients in the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs.
Q. How should I prepare for a Glow sunless-tanning service?
To prepare your skin for the longest-lasting, healthiest-looking tan:
Q. How can I extend my Glow sunless tan?
Three simple practices:
Q. How long do Glow tanning appointments typically last?
Our first visit includes a custom color consultation, plus service. It will last approximately 45 minutes. Subsequent services will last about 20 minutes.
Q. Where will you perform my services?
Anywhere you like!. Glow specialists arrive with a collapsible tent that contains all our tools and protects your surroundings.
Q. Will the tanning solutions stain my clothing?
Nope. The solution Glow employs is water soluble and will not stain.
Q. How long should my sunless spray tan last?
On average, 7 to 10 days. Factors such as skin type, activities and maintenance can cause your results to vary. Ask your Glow specialist for information about a healthy skin regimen and additional products to extend your glow.
Q. I'm under 18 and want to look great for my prom and/or graduation day. Can Glow help?
We'd love to! But first, we'll need a signed parent/guardian permission slip. Click Here for a printable form.
Q. I'm expecting a baby. Can Glow be part of my happy plans?
A toast to you! But our custom tanning services will have to wait until after your newborn's birthday.
Q. How does the products Glow uses work?
After a Glow specialist airbrushes the special tanning formula onto your body, the amino acids on your skin's surface will respond naturally to the DHA and other complementing ingredients in the tanning formula. The result? The most beautiful sunless tan you've ever seen.
Q. So, really, how can Glow services make me look slimmer?
With our training in color contouring and airbrush techniques, Glow specialists can subtly shift the tanning palette to respond to your body's contours, minimizing "trouble" areas while highlighting your natural assets. As we say at Glow, if you can't tone it, tan it!
Q. Is my UV-free airbrush tan safe?
Yes. The main ingredient is a simple, non-toxic sugar called dihydroxyacetone (DHA). It is often derived from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane. DHA is FDA approved.
