About the Role
The Director of Training is a key leadership role responsible for building, leading, and scaling the training function across the goGLOW franchise system. This role ensures franchise partners, managers, trainers, and spray specialists are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to deliver an exceptional, consistent brand and service experience across all studios.

Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Program Development
- Develop and oversee a scalable training framework for the goGLOW franchise network
- Design, implement, and evolve training programs for franchisees, managers, trainers, and spray specialists
- Build structured onboarding and certification pathways for new market openings
- Create digital learning content, SOPs, toolkits, and structured LMS learning tracks
- Ensure consistent operational and brand execution across all studios
- Own and maintain systemwide training standards, certification requirements, and curriculum governance across the franchise network
Franchisee Enablement & New Studio Launch Support
- Lead pre-opening training experiences for new franchise partners and their teams
- Manage onboarding timelines, milestones, and certification completion for studio launches
- Oversee execution of a train-the-trainer model to support system scale and certification processes
- Partner closely with franchisees to support readiness, confidence, and workforce capability within established training standards
Field Operations & Performance Support
- Conduct studio visits, audits, and training evaluations as needed
- Support field operations alignment between training, service delivery, and guest experience
- Develop KPI dashboards and reporting to measure training effectiveness and outcomes
- Use insights to refine programs and improve performance across the network
- Establish and maintain objective training benchmarks and recertification standards tied to performance outcomes
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage and mentor training team members and future training hires
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and NSO teams to ensure training aligns with brand initiatives, launches, and operational priorities
- Align training initiatives to program launches, campaigns, and new offerings
- Champion goGLOW’s brand values and culture through all training initiatives
Travel Requirements
- Approximately 20% travel to franchise and corporate studio locations
- On-site support may be required for:
- New market openings
- Systemwide or regional operational trainings
- High-priority audits or training needs (including occasional short-notice travel)
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development, field operations, or franchise enablement
- Experience developing scalable training programs in a multi-unit, franchise, retail, wellness, or service-based environment
- Strong instructional design and content development skills
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities
- Comfort working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization
- Experience operating with autonomy and accountability in a franchise or multi-stakeholder environment
Preferred
- Experience managing or mentoring training teams
- LMS experience
- Background in adult learning, organizational development, or performance improvement
