When should brides start their skincare journey with a specialist, i.e. how far before the wedding?
This depends on the current condition of their skin and what the bride is looking to accomplish. I recommend seeing an Aesthetician for a consultation as soon as you accept that ring! This will allow your skincare specialist to gain a better understanding of the history, present condition and goals for your skin and prepare a treatment plan with sufficient time before the wedding day.
What are the most popular services that you offer for brides?
If we begin several months prior to the wedding date, I typically begin with Microneedling. This treatment has so many benefits! Boosts collagen and elastin, minimizes fine lines, reduces the appearance of enlarged pores, and improves the overall tone and texture of the skin.
In the final days before the wedding, the Dermaplaning and DiamondGlow combination is my go-to for brides! Dermaplaning removes the vellus hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cells. The DiamondGlow is a medical grade device that simotaneously exfoliates, extracts and infuses serums into the skin. This combination will leave skin hydrated and radiant which will allow for flawless makeup application on their wedding day.
What is Dermaplaning and what are the benefits?
Dermaplaning involves lightly feathering the outermost layers of the skin with a sterile surgical scalpel. The skin is pulled taut, and care is taken to gently exfoliate the outer layers of the skin and Vellus Hair (peach fuzz). Myth buster: The hair will NOT grow back faster, thicker or darker.

What is microneedling and what are the benefits?
I will only use the SkinPen Microneedling device as its the first FDA approved device and the results and healing time are by far the best of any device I’ve used.

What kinds of peels do you offer?
Currently, I offer 10 different peels ranging from mild too deep. I carry peels that are safe for every skin type and concern as safety is just as important as results! I recently introduced the NoPeel Peel for those wanting a light resurfacing without the downtime of peel. I carry PCA Chemical Peels and VI Peels.
What is retinol and why should people use it?
Medical Grade Retinol is a form of Vitamin A and powerhouse when it comes to anti-aging skincare. This product may be used to treat acne and pigmented skin as well. I cannot stress this enough, when purchasing corrective skincare like Retinol, it’s important that it be medical grade. Purchasing from a skincare professional or physician is the best way to ensure you are getting a quality retinol.
Over the counter products will not contain enough of the active ingredient to make changes to the skin and may have adverse effects. There is a Retinol for every skin type, even the most sensitive skin!

It’s so hard to choose only a few but I will say Skinbetter Science Intensive Alpharet
